Self-Reflective Survey

By completing the Self-Reflective Survey you will be provided with a profile of how you currently respond to cultural pedagogy in your classroom. This will give you insight into the practices of your teaching which may need adjusting to serve the needs of your Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students. For the full list of resources click here.

The survey has 62 questions and will take approximately 10 - 15 minutes of your time.

After completing the survey you will be sent an email with your individual profile, reporting on your current pedagogical practices.

The statements in this questionnaire deal with actions or behaviours of teachers that might be seen or used in the classroom. Answer the questions based upon what degree you believe these actions or behaviours are used in your classroom. There are five answers for each behaviour ranging from almost never to almost always.

Please be honest and accurate in your answers, this is a self-reflective tool to enhance your teaching capacity in supporting First Nations students in your context.

We acknowledge the Traditional Owner groups upon whose lands our schools are located and honour the spiritual heritage of our First Nations Peoples. We pay our respects to all Elders watching over us and commit ourselves to nurturing the strengths of our emerging leaders.
